Harriet is a Nankeen Kestrel in the care of Native Animal Rescue. She is not able to be returned back to the wild so she has become part of the education team spreading the word about the importance of preserving our natural habitat and native wildlife. If you see a fairly small bird of prey hovering waiting to catch their prey they are most likely to be a Nankeen Kestrel.
